Terms for using the Velrix gateway and dashboard.
These terms govern access to the dashboard, API gateway, billing, model discovery, and related operational features. They are written for a production control plane, and require compliance with applicable laws and upstream model provider rules.
Effective date

Use the service lawfully
Velrix is for legitimate use of model routing, account management, and related AI infrastructure workflows in compliance with applicable law and provider terms.
Protect your keys
You are responsible for API keys, workspace access, and requests made through your account.
Credits and billing
Paid features, credits, and usage charges are subject to the rates, limits, and billing rules shown in the product.
1. Acceptance of These Terms
If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization and that both you and the organization accept these terms.
2. The Service
Velrix provides a control plane for AI request routing, API key management, usage telemetry, model discovery, provider fallback, and related operational tools. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time to maintain the service or respond to business, security, or legal needs.
We do not guarantee that any specific model, provider, region, price, latency, or route will remain available. Catalog information and routing decisions may change as providers, availability, or pricing change.
3. Accounts and Security
You must provide accurate account information and keep it current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, API keys, and workspace access, and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must promptly notify us of any suspected unauthorized access, compromised credentials, or abuse. We may require additional verification before acting on account changes or sensitive requests.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use the service to violate law, infringe intellectual property rights, distribute malware, interfere with networks or infrastructure, evade rate limits, scrape the service at scale, or access data without authorization.
You may not use the service to generate or facilitate content or activity that is unlawful, deceptive, abusive, harmful, or otherwise prohibited by applicable law, local or national regulations, or the policies and terms of upstream model providers.
You may not use the service for fraud, phishing, money laundering, malicious registration, credential stuffing, verification-code abuse, scraping circumvention, unauthorized intrusion, obtaining, controlling, or damaging computer information systems, data, or program tools, data theft, trading or unlawfully providing personal information, or to provide model calls, proxying, accounts, payments, servers, technical support, or promotion for illegal activity.
You must comply with all laws and regulations that apply to your use of the service in your location and in any jurisdiction from which you access or route traffic through the service.
5. API Keys, Quotas, and Usage
API keys may be scoped, rate limited, restricted by provider or model, and revoked by us if needed for security, abuse prevention, compliance, or account management.
Usage counts, token measurements, quotas, request logs, and similar telemetry are used for billing, support, security, and operational reporting. We may correct accounting errors if they are discovered later.
6. Billing, Credits, and Taxes
If you purchase credits or use paid features, you agree to pay the displayed fees, taxes, and other applicable charges. Amounts, billing intervals, and refund eligibility are determined by the product flow or your contract, if any.
We may suspend paid functionality, rate-limit accounts, or require prepayment if balances are insufficient, payments fail, or chargebacks occur. Credits are non-transferable unless we state otherwise.
7. Third-Party Services and Outputs
The service may route requests to third-party model providers, infrastructure vendors, analytics tools, payment processors, and other service providers. Their terms and policies may apply in addition to ours.
Outputs generated by third-party models are provided as-is. You are responsible for reviewing, validating, and using those outputs appropriately before relying on them in production or in any high-stakes setting.
If a provider places additional restrictions on data retention, content categories, or allowed use cases, you must follow those restrictions when using the service.
8. Intellectual Property
Velrix, its software, design, branding, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to your compliance with these terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service.
You retain rights in your own content and data. By using the service, you grant us the rights necessary to operate the service, route requests, store configuration, and provide support as described in our policies.
9. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access immediately if we believe there is a security risk, policy violation, legal requirement, abusive behavior, or material payment issue. We may also disable specific keys, routes, or workspaces without terminating the entire account.
You may stop using the service at any time. Certain obligations, including payment obligations, liability limits, intellectual property terms, privacy commitments, and dispute provisions, survive termination.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.
We do not warrant that the service, outputs, catalog data, or provider data will always be accurate, complete, secure, current, or error-free.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Velrix and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption.
Our total liability for claims related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to Velrix for the service during the 12 months before the claim arose, unless a different limit is required by law or a written agreement.
12. Regional Availability and Restrictions
Velrix is not currently available to users located in mainland China, and we may also be unavailable in other jurisdictions where local law, government requirements, sanctions, infrastructure limits, or upstream provider policies restrict lawful or reliable operation.
You may not access or use the service from an unsupported jurisdiction, route traffic through the service to avoid regional restrictions, or use accounts, API keys, credits, proxies, automation, or intermediaries to make unsupported access appear permitted.
You must ensure that prompts, files, code, personal information, datasets, and outputs submitted to the service have a lawful source, required authorization, and applicable consent. You may not use the service to unlawfully obtain, sell, provide, process, enrich, or identify personal information at scale.
If we detect use from unsupported jurisdictions, abnormal traffic, illegal content, suspected crime, regulator requests, sanctions exposure, or upstream provider restrictions, we may restrict, suspend, terminate, preserve logs, freeze credits, request identity or business verification, and disclose necessary information where legally required.
13. Changes, Contact, and Governing Law
We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the site, dashboard, or email when appropriate. Continued use of the service after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
Questions about these terms can be sent to legal@velrix.ai or support@velrix.ai. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, excluding conflict-of-law principles, but they do not limit mandatory laws or regulatory requirements of any jurisdiction that applies to your use.
